Misty Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and completed graduate level coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As her studies deepened, she began to question the underlying assumptions shaping modern mental health, ultimately stepping outside the traditional path toward licensure to explore broader questions of human experience, mind, perception, and consciousness.

Her experience includes working with diverse populations, including adults with developmental disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals experiencing homelessness. She is committed to social justice advocacy, with a focus on addressing systemic inequities and advancing more equitable approaches to mental health and community care.

Her personal and academic development has been shaped by lived psi experiences in childhood, as well as a family history of similar phenomena, which later informed her participation in psi research as part of a broader inquiry into consciousness and anomalous experience.

Her early life included exposure to diverse cultural traditions and contemplative practices, including meditation and traditional witchcraft. She is currently deepening her study of philosophy and engaging with decolonial perspectives, while exploring connections to land based practices as part of her reconnection with her ancestry.

Placide Saul Severe brings a systems perspective to technology, enterprise, and the study of complexity.

His career spans systems engineering focused on video technology and digital marketing for leading Silicon Valley companies. His engineering experience includes integrating desktop graphics and video solutions into PC platforms at Sony Electronics. His marketing work has also explored audience participation and reward-based models for promoting music, artists, and merchandise.

Sienna Benton brings a background in military service, filmmaking, healthcare communication, and creative patient support.

A U.S. Air Force veteran with an MFA from the New York Film Academy, Sienna served as a media and accreditation specialist at California Northstate University College of Medicine. She founded Doctor's Compass Magazine for the university, interviewing, publishing, and supporting students, physicians, scientists, and public figures within the healthcare community.

In 2026, she joined the Therapeutic Activities Personnel Team at Sierra Vista Hospital, leading groups for psychiatric patients with a focus on sound therapy and mindfulness techniques. She also supports medical patients at Sutter Hospital in Sacramento, using meditation, journaling, and creativity to help people explore these practices while receiving care.

Sienna serves on the Board of Directors of Science & Psi and is in pre-production for the launch of the Science & Psi magazine.
